Action

The COMMITTED community is focusing on the most intriguing themes of energy transition.
This fall, we explore with partners how to make cities carbon neutral fast and profitably, and also dive into the big theme of Power-to-X. In the beginning of 2020, we zoom in on energy storage. Moving toward an energy system relying on carbon-neutral energy, production will at times exceed the immediate demand. The themes of Power-to-X and Energy storage direct our attention to solving how we could utilise or store the excess energy in the best possible way. We will post blogs on our current themes and on our concrete action in them.

COMMITTED is a platform for throwing in ideas and improving them together. We aim to turn opportunities into concrete action fast. There is no one silver bullet for climate change or accelerating energy transition. That is why we act in three different ways.

We co-create and test business innovations together.
Combining the different capabilities and assets of members creates great opportunities for totally new way of thinking on systemic solutions – and muscle to implement them. All things start as an idea. Our rule for ideas is ”Improve, don’t shoot down”. We improve and develop ideas in member workshops into a product or service concept or entirely new business model, conduct validation and feasibility studies together and test cases in real life.

We engage in the public discussion openly.
With visions and evidence on solutions we hope to encourage others to act. We invite a range of perspectives to open up the energy discussion. We do this for example through organizing events with partners and sharing our thoughts and learnings through our blog.

We build new partnerships for action.
The only real way to accelerate energy transition is to open it up for new actors, for changing new roles in the value network, for new ideas. We are a platform for collaboration with actors across sectors: companies, startups, universities, cities, public sector, NGOs. We urge you to contact us.
